1.About cookies
1.1A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work the same way, and this policy covers them too.
1.2This policy covers niceway.io and your Niceway account. How we use the data these cookies hold is explained in our privacy notice.
1.3The cookie names in this policy are technical identifiers that come from the software behind Niceway. A name does not change what a cookie does or who can read it.
2.Necessary cookies
2.1These cookies make the site and your account work. They do not need your consent, and they are always on.
- niceway_
session - Keeps you signed in to your account. Scripts on the page cannot read it. Lasts until you sign out, or 7 days.
- niceway_
cookie_ consent_ v1 - Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies. Lasts 12 months.
- niceway_
cookie_ consent_ v1_ detail - Remembers which optional categories you chose. Lasts 12 months.
- niceway_
currency - Remembers the currency you chose for prices: euros, pounds or US dollars. Lasts 12 months.
- pp_
eo_ + order number - Lets you reopen an eSIM order you placed without an account. Lasts 7 days.
2.2You can block these cookies in your browser settings. If you do, you will not be able to sign in, and the site will forget your currency and cookie choices.
3.Partner and campaign cookies (optional)
3.1These are optional marketing attribution cookies. They remember which partner or campaign link brought you to Niceway, so the partner can be credited if you sign up. They are read only by us, and we do not share them with advertisers.
3.2Your account sets them only after you accept all optional cookies: Accept all in Cookie settings, or both Analytics and Marketing turned on. With the same consent, your account also sends us a record of the visit: the page you opened, the page you came from, your IP address and browser, and any partner or campaign code in the link. We use it to count where visitors come from.
3.3If you reject optional cookies or withdraw your consent, these cookies are not set and the visit record is not sent. Copies set earlier are deleted the next time you open your account.
3.4We show no cookie banner at the moment, because we use no analytics or advertising provider. So in practice these cookies are not set, unless you turn optional cookies on yourself in Cookie settings.
- plativputi_
ref - Remembers the partner whose link you followed, so the partner is credited if you sign up. Lasts 30 days.
- plativputi_
ref_ tracked - Stops the same referral visit being counted twice on one day. Lasts 36 hours.
- plativputi_
utm - Remembers which campaign link brought you to us. Lasts 180 days.
4.Analytics and advertising cookies
4.1We do not use analytics or advertising cookies at the moment, and no analytics scripts run on the site. The only optional cookies are the partner and campaign cookies above.
4.2If we start using an analytics or advertising provider, we will list each cookie here and ask for your consent in a cookie banner first. Nothing optional is set until you agree.
5.Changing your choices
5.1You can change or withdraw your consent at any time in Cookie settings. The link is also at the bottom of every page.
5.2Your browser can also delete cookies or block them. Its help pages explain how.
6.Other storage in your browser
6.1We also keep your currency choice in your browser’s local storage, under niceway_currency. It stays until you clear your browsing data.
6.2Your account uses the browser’s session storage for short technical notes, such as an order you are about to pay for. They are deleted when you close the tab.
7.Changes to this policy
7.1When we add or remove a cookie, we update this policy and its date. A new optional cookie is never set before you agree to it. Questions go to the address in our contact details.
