1.About these terms
1.1These terms apply to gift card codes and game top-ups, together with our terms of use. Where they differ, these terms apply to those products.
1.2Niceway sells codes and top-ups for stores and games run by other companies. Those companies are not affiliated with Niceway and do not endorse it.
2.Regions and currencies
2.1A gift card works only with store accounts in the region it is sold for. Check your account’s region before you buy.
2.2A gift card is charged in its own currency, so there is no exchange rate on the card itself.
3.Delivery
3.1Once your payment is confirmed, the code appears on screen and in your account, and a copy arrives by email.
3.2A code counts as delivered once it is shown to you. From then on, the right to cancel no longer applies to it.
3.3Keep your code private. Anyone who has it can use it, and we cannot replace a code someone else has redeemed.
4.Redeeming a code
4.1You redeem a code with the store or game it is for, under that company’s own terms. Its terms decide, for example, whether the balance expires and what it can buy.
5.Game top-ups
5.1Top-ups are sent to the player ID you enter. Before you pay, we check only that the ID has the right format. The game publisher confirms the account when the top-up is delivered.
5.2You are responsible for entering the right ID. We cannot reverse a top-up sent to the wrong ID.
5.3Top-ups usually arrive within 5 minutes. If the game rejects a top-up, we cancel the order and refund you.
5.4Bonuses, such as first top-up bonuses, are set and applied by the game, not by Niceway.
6.Faulty codes
6.1If a code does not work, tell us within 72 hours of receiving it, with a screenshot of the error. We check it with our supplier and replace it or refund you. This does not limit your legal rights if a code is faulty.
6.2Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5 business days.
7.Price, fees and VAT
7.1A gift card costs its face value, and a game top-up costs the price shown for the pack. We charge no service fee on top.
7.2Any VAT is already included in the face value, and we add none on top. Depending on the card, VAT is charged when you buy it (a single-purpose voucher) or when you spend it (a multi-purpose voucher); this does not change the price you pay.
