How is Travel different from Premium?
Premium also pays AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude and works in shops and contactless. It has a $10,000 limit per payment, a 2.9% top-up fee and comes with $10 on the card. Travel covers bookings, marketplaces, PayPal, and Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Can I pay for a hotel that holds a deposit?
Yes. Hotels, Airbnb and car rental companies often hold an amount before the stay, so keep enough balance for the hold. The hotel or rental company releases it after you check out.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
No. ChatGPT and Claude check cards strictly and decline the Travel card. For AI tools, take the Premium card.
How long is the card valid?
Two years from the day it is issued. There is no monthly fee during that time.
Can I use it outside Europe?
Yes. The card pays online services in 190+ countries, wherever Visa is accepted online.
