Your eSIM connects to a partner network in Georgia and switches if the signal is better on another one. The networks for each plan are confirmed at checkout.
Georgia is outside the EU, so European SIMs pay roaming here, often at high rates. Most visitors combine Tbilisi with a mountain trip to Kazbegi or Svaneti and a few days in Kakheti or on the Black Sea in Batumi; minibus timetables, taxis ordered through Bolt and guesthouse bookings all need data.
Coverage is good in Tbilisi, Batumi and along the main roads. On the Georgian Military Road, in Tusheti and on the hikes around Mestia and Ushguli the signal can be weak or absent for long stretches.

The QR code arrives straight away. The 30 days have not started.
Install on Wi-Fi at home. Keep it switched off until you land.
The 30 days start from the first connection to a partner network.

Leave the line switched off until you land. Turn on Data Roaming for it in Georgia.
Open Settings, then Network and internet (Samsung: Connections).
Tap SIMs, then Add eSIM or Download a SIM, and scan the QR code.
Set the eSIM as the SIM for Mobile data. Keep your usual SIM for calls.
When you land, switch the eSIM on and turn on Roaming for it.
Your phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. If it was bought from a mobile network on contract, ask them to unlock it before you travel.
In Mestia and the larger villages there is some coverage; on trekking routes and in Tusheti, which is cut off by snow for much of the year, expect long stretches offline.
The metro and buses are cheap, and Bolt is a common way to order taxis with an agreed fare. Both are easier with data for maps and the app.
No – a Georgia plan works only in Georgia. Many visitors cross to Armenia by road or train, so add an Armenia plan for that part of the trip.
Yes. The plan starts when the eSIM first connects in Georgia. Install it within 180 days of buying.
