Your eSIM connects to a partner network in Montenegro and switches if the signal is better on another one. The networks for each plan are confirmed at checkout.
Montenegro is small enough to see the coast and the mountains in one trip, and most visitors combine it with Croatia or Albania. It is outside the EU, so roaming from a European SIM can cost extra, even though the euro is the local currency.
Coverage is good around the Bay of Kotor and along the coast. In Durmitor National Park, the Tara Canyon and on the serpentine road above Kotor the signal comes and goes.

No. Montenegro uses the euro but is not in the EU, so roam-like-at-home rules do not cover it. Check your provider’s rates before you rely on your usual SIM.
No – Dubrovnik is in Croatia. A Montenegro plan works only in Montenegro, so for a day across the border choose a Balkans regional plan that lists both countries, or use your EU SIM in Croatia.
Deep in the canyon, mostly not. Your rafting company will tell you where to expect signal; save your transfer details before you set off.
Yes. The plan starts when the eSIM first connects in Montenegro. Install it within 180 days of buying.
