Your eSIM connects to a partner network in France. The networks for each plan are confirmed at checkout.
A plan for France makes most sense if your SIM is from outside the EU and EEA – the UK, Switzerland, North America or Asia. An EU or EEA SIM usually roams here at no extra charge under roam-like-at-home rules, within your provider’s fair-use limits.
Coverage is dense in Paris, on the Riviera and along the TGV lines, where tunnels can still interrupt the connection for a minute or two. In the high Alps, the Pyrenees and the quieter parts of the Massif Central the signal can fade between villages.

Your phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. If it was bought from a mobile network on contract, ask them to unlock it before you travel.
Monaco is a separate country with its own mobile network, so a France plan may not cover it. Check the coverage list on the plan before you pay.
No. The overseas departments are part of France but run on their own networks, and a plan for mainland France does not normally cover them. Look for a plan that lists them by name.
The Métro and RER have mobile coverage in most stations and many tunnels. Coverage follows the partner networks, so short gaps underground are still possible.
Yes. The plan starts when the eSIM first connects in France. Install it within 180 days of buying.
