Your eSIM connects to a partner network in Greece and switches if the signal is better on another one. The networks for each plan are confirmed at checkout.
Island hopping runs on your phone: ferry tickets, timetables that change with the weather and maps of villages built for walking rather than driving. An EU or EEA SIM can usually roam here at home prices; from the UK or outside Europe, a local plan avoids daily roaming fees.
Coverage is good in towns, ports and on most beaches. At sea it fades between islands, and some large ferries carry their own onboard mobile network that is billed at high roaming rates. Switch off roaming on your usual SIM while you are on board so it cannot join that network by mistake.

Install on Wi-Fi at home. Keep it switched off until you land.

Set the eSIM as the SIM for Mobile data. Keep your usual SIM for calls.
When you land, switch the eSIM on and turn on Roaming for it.
Your phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. If it was bought from a mobile network on contract, ask them to unlock it before you travel.
Close to the coast it stays on the land networks; in open water you may lose signal for part of the crossing. If your phone offers a ship’s onboard network, do not use it with your usual SIM – those connections are billed separately and can be expensive.
Inhabited islands are served by Greek networks, with the strongest signal around the main port and village. Remote beaches and hilltop monasteries can be patchy, so save tickets and maps before you set out.
Yes. The plan starts when the eSIM first connects in Greece. Install it within 180 days of buying.
