Your eSIM connects to a partner network in India. The networks for each plan are confirmed at checkout.
Buying a local SIM in India takes a passport, a visa copy, a photo and sometimes a day or more to activate. A travel eSIM skips that paperwork, which helps on short trips and when you land late at night. Train and flight bookings and ride-hailing with Uber or Ola all run through your phone.
Coverage is good in cities and along the main rail routes, and patchier in rural areas and the Thar Desert. In the high Himalaya, such as Ladakh and Spiti, coverage is thin and you should plan to be offline for long stretches.
