Your eSIM connects to a partner network in Norway and switches if the signal is better on another one. The networks for each plan are confirmed at checkout.
Norway is in the European Economic Area, so a SIM from the EU or EEA usually roams here at home prices. A plan is aimed at visitors from the UK, Switzerland and outside Europe, and at anyone who needs more data than their home allowance gives.
Coverage reaches most towns, main roads and the coastal route north, but mountain plateaus such as the Hardangervidda and the inner arms of the fjords can be out of signal. Road tunnels are long here; many have coverage, but not all of them do.
Example for a 10 GB, 30-day plan. Nothing is used until the eSIM connects in Norway.
The QR code arrives straight away. The 30 days have not started.
Install on Wi-Fi at home. Keep it switched off until you land.
The 30 days start from the first connection to a partner network.
Whichever comes first. For more data, buy another plan.
You need Wi-Fi and the QR code from your email or your account. Menu names differ slightly between phone models.

Label the new line Niceway Norway and choose it for Mobile Data only.
Leave the line switched off until you land. Turn on Data Roaming for it in Norway.
Open Settings, then Network and internet (Samsung: Connections).
Tap SIMs, then Add eSIM or Download a SIM, and scan the QR code.
Set the eSIM as the SIM for Mobile data. Keep your usual SIM for calls.
When you land, switch the eSIM on and turn on Roaming for it.
Your phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. If it was bought from a mobile network on contract, ask them to unlock it before you travel.
Around Tromsø and Alta, roads and towns are covered, but the darkest viewing spots are often well outside town, where the signal fades. Save your route and the forecast before you drive out.
Svalbard is part of Norway, but coverage there is limited to Longyearbyen and a few settlements. Check the coverage list on the plan before you go.
A Norway plan works only in Norway. For a trip across the Nordic countries, a Europe regional plan covers Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark on one eSIM.
Yes. The plan starts when the eSIM first connects in Norway. Install it within 180 days of buying.
