Your eSIM connects to a partner network in the Philippines and switches if the signal is better on another one. The networks for each plan are confirmed at checkout.
A trip to the Philippines usually means domestic flights and boat transfers between islands – El Nido to Coron, Cebu to Bohol – and most of those bookings and changes reach you by phone. In Manila and Cebu, Grab is the common way to order a car.
Coverage is good in Manila, Cebu and the main resort towns. On island-hopping tours, in remote parts of Palawan and on smaller islands the signal fades, and storms in typhoon season can disrupt coverage for a while.

The registration law applies to Philippine SIM cards. A travel eSIM is a foreign line roaming on a partner network, so you do not register it locally.
