Your eSIM connects to a partner network in Australia. The networks for each plan are confirmed at checkout.
Australia is almost as big as the continental United States, and many visitors combine the east-coast cities with a flight to Uluru, the Reef or Western Australia. Maps, ride-hailing, ferry and tour bookings all run on data, and many campgrounds and national parks take bookings online.
Coverage is concentrated along the coast and around towns. Drive into the Outback, across the Nullarbor or up to Cape York and you can go hundreds of kilometres without signal, so carry offline maps, water and fuel.
Example for a 10 GB, 30-day plan. Nothing is used until the eSIM connects in Australia.
The QR code arrives straight away. The 30 days have not started.
Install on Wi-Fi at home. Keep it switched off until you land.
The 30 days start from the first connection to a partner network.

You need Wi-Fi and the QR code from your email or your account. Menu names differ slightly between phone models.

Tap Add eSIM, then Use QR Code, and scan the code from your email or account.
Label the new line Niceway Australia and choose it for Mobile Data only.
Leave the line switched off until you land. Turn on Data Roaming for it in Australia.
Open Settings, then Network and internet (Samsung: Connections).
Tap SIMs, then Add eSIM or Download a SIM, and scan the QR code.
Set the eSIM as the SIM for Mobile data. Keep your usual SIM for calls.
When you land, switch the eSIM on and turn on Roaming for it.
Your phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. If it was bought from a mobile network on contract, ask them to unlock it before you travel.
At Yulara, the resort town next to Uluru, yes. Between Outback towns coverage is rare – no plan can change that – so prepare to be offline on long drives.
In Cairns, Port Douglas and the Whitsunday towns, yes. Out on reef trips the signal drops quickly once you leave the coast.
An Australia plan works only in Australia. For a trip that continues across the Tasman, add a New Zealand plan or choose a plan that lists both countries.
Yes. The plan starts when the eSIM first connects in Australia. Install it within 180 days of buying.
