Coverage and networks

Your eSIM connects to a partner network in each country on the list. The networks and the final list for each plan are confirmed at checkout.

A global plan is built for round-the-world trips, long stopovers and frequent travellers who do not want to install a new plan in every country. It costs more per gigabyte than a single-country or regional plan, so it pays off when your route crosses several regions.

Coverage is broad but not complete: the list leaves out some destinations, including Georgia, the Maldives and Vietnam. Check the list on the plan before you pay.

Check your phone first

Your phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. If it was bought from a mobile network on contract, ask them to unlock it before you travel.

  • Dial *#06#. If you see an EID number, your phone supports eSIM.
  • Most iPhones from XR and XS onwards, Google Pixel 3 onwards and Samsung Galaxy S20 onwards support eSIM.

We check it against the list of eSIM phones. Nothing is saved.

Global eSIM questions

Which countries does the global plan cover?

The plan covers 117 countries and territories, all listed on this page. The list is shown again on the plan before you pay.

Is a global plan good value for one country?

No. Single-country plans cost much less. Choose the global plan when your trip spans several regions.

Does the validity pause between countries?

No. The validity starts at the first connection and runs continuously, whichever country you are in.

Can I buy the plan now and travel next month?

Yes. The plan starts when the eSIM first connects in a covered country. Install it within 180 days of buying.
